Lord Foul’s Bane
The wraparound cover for the novel of the same name by Stephen R. Donaldson, released as a special edition from Grim Oak Press.
This was my first opportunity to paint a cover for Grim Oak, the first in this series. What I loved most about the first book was the way in which the Land was alive and equal to the people that lived within it. In the spirit of that idea I sought to show a beautiful path created as if by nature itself. Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever, steps through to this new world while staring, determined, out at our own. His grim expression set to challenge everything around him.
INTERIOR ARTWORK
I also had the opportunity to paint ten full color interiors for the story. After completion we learned that the color plates weren’t possible for the book but you can see them all here in bright full color. I’m offering a limited run of print collections for the interior work.
